On the morning of Tuesday, October 29, 2024, at the Faculty of Engineering - Gharyan, a series of planned workshops organized by the Office of Quality Assurance and Performance Evaluation at the university, in collaboration with the Faculty of Engineering, began. These workshops aim to prepare functional cadres capable of meeting all quality needs and requirements, both institutional and programmatic.

In addition to identifying areas and points of weakness that need development and focus, and making a greater effort to overcome them and achieve the main objective of these planned activities.

The first workshop was inaugurated in the presence of the University President, Prof. Dr. Saleh Qeshout, the Director of the University Quality Office, Dr. Tarek Al-Daibi, the Director of the International Cooperation Office, Dr. Mahmoud Ashour, the Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, Dr. Adel Al-Maloushi, the Head of the Faculty Members' Syndicate, Dr. Abdulhamid Al-Shibani, the Dean of the Faculty of Sciences, Dr. Nasser Aburawi, the Dean of the Faculty of Arts Al-Qawasim, Dr. Saqr Sassi, and most representatives of the heads of quality departments at the university's faculties, in addition to the functional staff of the college.

The university president welcomed the attendees, expressing his appreciation and pride in holding such events that serve all components of the university. In his speech, he pointed out the provision of any kind of facilities and both material and moral support.

The floor was then given to the Head of the Quality Department at the college, Prof. Dr. Tawfiq Ajjal, to present the first workshop, which was about "Self-Evaluation and Self-Study": Concepts and Application Mechanisms.
