Gharyan University Hosts the Ministry of Labor and Rehabilitation, Launching the "Open Employment Day" Initiative at the Faculty of Engineering

The Ministry of Labor and Rehabilitation launched the "Open Employment Day" initiative at the Faculty of Engineering, Gharyan University, as part of its efforts to provide effective solutions for job opportunities outside the government sector.

The initiative aims to encourage the private national and foreign sectors to employ national talents, focusing on job seekers and upcoming graduates.

The event was attended by the Minister of Labor and Rehabilitation, Engineer Ali Al-Abed Al-Rida, along with a delegation from the ministry's preparatory committee, the President of Gharyan University, Prof. Dr. Saleh Ramadan Qeshout, the Dean of the Municipal Council of Gharyan, and leading the reception were the President of the University, the Dean of the Municipality, members of the Municipal Council, and the Dean of the Faculty of Engineering.

In his speech, the minister emphasized the importance of expanding job opportunities outside the government sector and encouraging the private sector to attract young national talents.

The event included light presentations explaining the role of the ministry and its affiliated entities in supporting and qualifying youth for the labor market. The minister, accompanied by the university president and the dean of the municipality, inaugurated the central workshop of the Faculty of Engineering, which contains a number of equipment and machines for engineering specializations.

This initiative is an extension of previous activities, which began at the Faculty of Engineering at the University of Tripoli in early October, and is scheduled to expand to include other engineering faculties in various Libyan cities.
